The slogan for 2021 is “Regular Sleep, Happy Future.”
So lets get down to it, how can we get this regular sleep, for a happier future?
A key cornerstone to most successful people is the activity of sleep. So let’s delve into the Success habits- how to turbocharge your sleep!
Here are some great ways to boost your success by sleeping like a real champ!
Keep a Schedule
Probably the most important thing is to go to be and wake up at around the same time each and every day. There are no days off here. If you are consistent, your body will thank you.
Ditch the Java
Caffeine is for the mornings, not the evenings. So in the afternoon, cut out the coffee, tea, chocolate, or sodas. Also, cigarettes are a no-no. Caffeine can stay with you even up to 8 hours. Nicotine also can limit your deep rem sleep cycles.
No late naps
It’s not a good idea to take naps after 3 or 4 pm. If you want to take them before. If you nap too late in the day, there’s a good chance it will disrupt your sleep. Your body has circadian rhythms that need to be recognized.

Take it down a notch
It’s important to try to unwind a little before hitting the sack. Schedule some time to chill, like having a cup of chamomile tea, listen to some soft jazz, or read a boring book. ITs a good idea to have a ritual that you unwind to every night.
Sleep Day: Don’t pump the iron in the pm
The recommended dose of sweat equity is about 35-40 minutes per day, just don’t exert yourself too close to beddy-bye time. You may end up shifting your sleep cycle into oblivion.
If the sandman is late, don’t wait
Let’s say that you end up in bed tossing and turning. The best thing is to pattern interrupt and change it up. Take a quick walk, get a drink of water, get out of bed. Your mind might reset and you can give it another shot.
Sleep Day: Ditch the booze
Alcohol may relax you, but it can mess up a sleep routine depending on the amount and the food you consume. If you are too buzzed, you might not get the right sleep cycles, or breathe properly. Play it safe and don’t indulge.
Light suppers rule
You don’t want to be hungry when you go to sleep, but you don’t want to pig out either. If you also drink too many liquids, you might have to urinate. So be sensible before you retire.
Some meds are buzzy
Some medicine may give you a buzz or affect your sleep too much. Perhaps your doctor can recommend a different dosage in the am or a lower does before bed to help?

Sleep Day: Soak it up
A warm bath usually makes you feel a bit better, so give it a shot before bed, it can relax your muscles, and make you spankin clean in the sheets.
No tech twist
It’s recommended that you don’t play with your phone or tablet in bed. The less tech in your bedroom the better. Go oldschool and ban tech from the bedroom! The quieter the better!
Soak up the sun in the balance
The sun is your friend, but it can confuse your body if you take it in the wrong doses. Your body likes rituals, so it’s important to try and get some sunlight in the day (1 hour is ideal). This is so that you can keep your mind in check to go to sleep when it’s dark. Then, when it’s dark out, enjoy that so your mind knows it’s time to hit the hay!

Sleep Day: Sleep And success
As you might know from exercise, you need breaks in between effective exercise sessions. The mind is the same. When you sleep, your body puts itself back together as it were. ITfiles information like an office assistant with last yeast sales figures in a cabinet. A disrupted sleep cycle can snowball into other issues. It can even weaken your immune system, which is something that can really mess you up when you fall ill.
IF you are having issues sleeping, try out these tips. Also it’s a good investment to seek a medical doctor’s point of view if it persists. Your health depends on it!
