Setting up the TP-LINK AC1200 Extender Setup

• The first move is to attach the power supply to your TP-Link AC1200 Extender Setup.
• With the aid of an Ethernet cable, connect it to your device.
• It is important to use a web browser on your computer.
• In the search bar, type tplinkrepeater.net.
• Otherwise, type 192.168.0.254 and press the Enter key on your keyboard.
• Select the Next button from the Fast Setup tab.
• Enter your zone and then click Next once more.
• The TP-Link extender is now searching for a list of available networks. It can take a few minutes to check.
• Select your wireless network from the drop-down menu and then click Next.
• In the next prompt that appears, enter your username and password.
• Make sure you're using the right password. You won't be able to log in if your password is incorrect.
• Carefully read the TP link wifi extender's manual.

Setup Schedule for the TP-LINK AC1200 WiFi Range Extender by TP-LINK

(If there is no wifi in use, power-saving allows the plan mode to be turned off.) You should schedule multiple days and times to manage power and uncommon WiFi repeater system operation.

• Select Advanced-Power Plan setup from the drop-down menu.
• Set a timer for when the Repeater machine can switch off, such as when you go to sleep or when you aren't using WiFi.
• Days: Choose the days for which you want the booster unit's scheduled power to be set.
• To save your changes and allow power saving mode, click the Save button.
• The TP-Link AC1200 extender setup is now complete, and the correct repeater device position has been determined. To get the best wifi signal coverage and range possible.
• To achieve long-range signal communication, do not cover the extender unit within any box or under the table.
• Any Wi-Fi router or wireless entry point can be used.
• To complete the setup, select the Next option and then press the Finish button.

TP-LINK AC1200 Extender  Setup via WPS

If you want to set up your extender using the WPS button on your current wireless network, follow the steps below.

• Keep down the WPS button on the Extender for 5 seconds.
• The WPS LED picture on the front is expected to blink.

Click the WPS button on your wireless router, gateway, or access point within two minutes. Also, attach the extender to your current wireless network after waiting at least 2 minutes. When the WPS LED on your Extender turns solid green, the 2.4 GHz Connection Rate LED lights up, indicating that it was effective.

The file will be rewritten by your QuillBot. Note: If the 2.4 GHz Link Rate LED does not light up, repeat steps 1–2 or check to see if your router supports WPS. If your router supports the 5 GHz band, simply repeat steps 1 and 2 to link the Extender to it.

If the extender Setup is complete, the extended network for each related band is broadcast as "network name 2GEXT" and "network name 5GEXT." You'll link to the extender's network with the same password as the router's network.
