How to Enable Meta Description in Blogger Posts and Pages?
Rating :
One thing you can do to make your blog search engine optimized is to enable a meta description of your blogger posts and pages. This meta description will be shown below your blog post or page in search results in search engines or when you share your link in google+, Facebook, and other social networks. For example, when someone is searching a keyword, in google and one of your posts appears in search results, he/she definitely read the description first before he/she choose what link to visit, that’s why making an optimized meta description could help our post to convince people to visit and read our content. See the screenshot below.
Advantage of Enabling meta Description
If the meta description in your blogger is disabled, the search engine or the networking sites will get an automated meta description but if you enable your meta description, you can customize the few words appearing as a description of your post or page in search engine results as well as when you share it to Facebook or google+. Once the meta description is enabled, you can now see a search description in the post settings located on the right side of every post or page. Under the search description, put your description that best describes your blog post or page.
